The gripper is designed for lifting and moving barrels in a vertical position. In modern production, barrels are often used as containers for various kinds of materials. Often it is not possible to use massive lifting equipment to move or lift barrels, or the complex, rounded shape of the object does not allow it to be securely fixed.
Design
The barrel gripper has a simple and reliable construction of the "parrot's beak" type, is lightweight and easy to use. A distinctive feature of the gripper is its careful attitude to the elements of the barrel structure. The lifting capacity of one gripper is 0.2t or 0.6t.
For lifting and moving the barrels, the gripper is attached directly to the working body of the lifting mechanism, or with the help of slings. To move a group of barrels, it is possible to manufacture a traverse with grippers of this type.
