JSC Samarkandmarmar was founded in 1977 one of the largest mining enterprises of Uzbekistan, the enterprise has on the balance eight fields - marble, granite, a rubble stone, a plaster stone makes a marble crumb.

The Dzhamsky field of marble and mramorizovanny limestones on a block stone (it is located in Nurabadsky district) coloring white, white with gray spots reminds an ornament of a birch and rubble rubble - for production of decorative marble crushed stone, coloring white, white gray, marble slabs is applied to finishing of facades of houses, a floor and another.

On career Dzham is issued decorative marble crushed stone

(a marble crumb) on the following fractions:

2,5-5,0 mm, 5,0-10,0mm, 10,0-20,0mm, 20,0-40,0 mm, applied to plaster of walls of facades, for a floor with removal of an ornament, for an embankment on railway platforms, in construction, etc.

The Amankutansky field of marble on a block stone

(it is located in Urgutsky district), has coloring black and black and white an ornament similar to the black Uzbek atlas, for production of marble slabs, it is used for production of marble decorative crushed stone of black and dark gray coloring.

The Sevasaysky field of granites (it is located in Urgutsky district) has coloring gray, light gray, coarse-grained with black and white grains.

The Lyangarsky field of granites (it is located in Nuratinsky district), has coloring pink, pinkish-gray, and also there is a granite dark gray fine-grained. These granites it is used for strengthening of coast and rivers, bases and facing of buildings, constructions, granite steps are made of it, borders, monuments, plates, various products, sinks, table-tops, waste from production are suitable in construction.

The Kungurtausky field of a plaster stone - (it is located in Nurabadsky district) - white, saccharoidal, quality.

According to technological tests, plaster meets the following requirements of the industry for production of various knitting substances and plaster products, including: in production of high-strength construction plaster, astroplaster, for production of a portlandtsement of 1 grade, in paper production - as fillers, for production ammonium sulfate, in agriculture - for fertilizers, in medicine.

There are two pogruzo-unloading stations of the railroad - "Marokand" Pastdargomsky district, "Zirabulak" in Aktashe.

At the enterprise pine-forest cars, diamond rope saws, drilling rigs and kamneobrabatyvayushchy the equipment of the Italian production are used.
