Flight-50 Cable Length Measuring Instrumen

The measuring instrument of length of the REYS-50 cable is the digital portable (pocket) instrument for broad application at measurement of lengths of power cables, cables of communication, control cables, cables of management and all other types of cables and wires.

REYS-50 is actually two devices in one body: the pulse reflectometer working at basis of method of pulse reflectometry (TDR - method) and the device working by method of measurement of resistance of conductors (DC - method).

Main ranges of application of the REYS-50 device

• Measurement of length of cables and wires by their production, warehousing, accounting and storage.
• Measurement of length of cables and wires at trade in them.
• Measurement of length of cables when laying: during construction of buildings and constructions, installation of electric networks, communication lines and control by the ships, vessels, airplanes, etc., and at their subsequent operation.
• Laying of cable lines of all types in communication, power, gorelektrotransporta, railway transport, sea and river ports, the airports, etc.
• Laying of networks of cable television and computer networks.
• Installation of thermal networks with the preliminary isolated pipes on the basis of polyurethane foam insulation.

Additional ranges of application of the REYS-50 device

• Search of damages and malfunctions in couples of cable and conductors and their localization by measurement of distance to the place of damage (break, short circuit, the low-impedance leak). Further, if the topology of laying of cable is known, then it is possible to find the place of its damage rather precisely.
• Measurement of electric resistance of veins of cable, wires and different electric chains.
• Pro-call of electric chains.
