A flat metal heater can rightly be called one of the most common types of heating devices. The heater is unique in its diversity and the ability to repeat the required shape. Metal flat heaters are made with a micanite or ceramic insulator. The heating element is Rescal wire.

Structurally, a flat heater consists of several layers: sheet metal, 0.25 - 0.5 mm thick, insulating material and a high resistance heater. The heater has a contact type of heating, so it must be completely adjacent to the heated surface.

Flat metal heaters are manufactured according to customer drawings, so they can be U or L shaped. Mounting holes and perforations can be made on the surface of the heater.
