Filming agent Aegis

1.1 AEGIS filming agent is intended for prevention of evaporation of water from a surface of newly-laid concrete and formation of cracks on products.

1.2 AEGIS filming agent is mix of salts of fatty acids of various molecular weight and saturated hydrocarbons.

2.1 AEGIS filming agent can be used for any concrete which is capable to lose intensively moisture in the course of work.

2.2 AEGIS filming agent is especially effective in the conditions of high temperatures, low humidity, strong wind, during the work on the sun and in the heated rooms in a cold season.

3.1 AEGIS filming agent is issued in the form of a water emulsion of white or light yellow color, ready to application, which indicators of quality have to conform to requirements of TU 5745-063-58042865-2011.

4.1 Use of AEGIS filming agent allows

• to reduce evaporation of water from a concrete surface in 2 and more times (depending on environment conditions);
• to reduce or prevent formation of shrinkable cracks;
• to prevent penetration of moisture to a surface of the processed concrete;
• to achieve maximum efficiency of action for one operation.

AEGIS filming agent does not contain solvents.

5.1 AEGIS filming agent is ready to application and does not demand additional cultivation by water. It is recommended to mix before use.

5.2 Expenses of filming agent depend on climatic conditions (wind, humidity, air temperature, direct sunshine). The recommended expenses make 0,1-0,2 kg/m 2 surfaces.

5.3 Before putting filming agent water from a surface of newly-laid concrete has to evaporate (about 0,5-2 hours, depending on temperature).

5.4 film-forming structure "AEGIS" is applied with the manual and mechanized spray on newly-laid concrete. On big squares the specialized automatic equipment can be used.

6.1 AEGIS filming agent has to be stored in the closed plastic or metal capacities at a temperature not below 10 °C. Freezing is not allowed.

6.2 A warranty period of storage of AEGIS filming agent - 6 months from the date of production.

Quality of filming agent is guaranteed at observance of all requirements stated in item 6.1.

6.3 After the termination of a warranty period AEGIS filming agent has to be tested on all normalized indicators of quality and, in case of compliance to requirements acting with TU, can be used in production.

7.1 AEGIS filming agent is substance moderately dangerous and belongs to the 3rd class of danger in accordance with GOST 12.1.007. Filming agent does not form toxic connections in the air environment and sewage.

7.2 During the work with filming agent it is necessary to apply means of individual protection according to standard branch norms: for protection of organs of vision - GOST 12.4.230.1; for protection of integuments - GOST 12.4.103; for protection of respiratory organs - GOST 12.4.034.

7.3 At use of filming agent in technology of concrete it is necessary to fulfill requirements Construction Norms and Regulations of III-4-80, Construction Norms and Regulations 12-03-99.
