Pharmacological properties

The preparation has antigelmintny effect at infection with tape-worms (tsestoda): wide lentets, bull tapeworm and dwarfish tapeworm. In the action mechanism the main role is played by ability of a preparation to oppress oxidizing - phosphorylation, to cause paralysis of tape helminths, and also to reduce their stability to proteolytic enzymes of a digestive tract, leading to their destruction.

Indications to application

Treatment of intestinal tsestodoz: difillobotrioza (invasions wide lentets), teniarinkhoza (invasions bull tapeworm) tenioza and gimenolepidoza (invasions dwarfish tapeworm).

Method of application and doses

The preparation is accepted inside in the form of suspension. For preparation of water suspension 1 bag on 0,25 g is dissolved in 1/4 glasses, on 0,5 g - 1/2 glasses, on 1,0 g - 1 glass of warm water. The daily dose depends on age (see table 1).

Teniarinkhoz and difillobotrioz - in day of treatment is recommended the liquid or semi-fluid easily usvoyaemy fat-free food (broth, liquid porridges, mashed potatoes, kissels, fruit juice, sweet tea and so forth). The preparation in a daily dose is in one stage accepted on an empty stomach or in the evening in 3-4 hours after an easy dinner. Before reception of a preparation appoint 2 g of sodium of a hydrocarbonate (baking soda). In 2 hours drink a glass of sweet tea with crackers or cookies. Laxative is not appointed.

Gimenolepidoz - the daily dose of a preparation is divided into 4 single doses and accepted every 2 hour (at 10, 12, 14 and 16 hours). Meal is carried out at 8, 13 and 18 hours. Thus, fenasat - appoint within 4 days. In 4 days the course of treatment is repeated. Control research is conducted in 15 days after the end of treatment and in the subsequent - monthly. At recurrence of a disease treatment according to the specified scheme is repeated. Duration of control researches after the carried-out treatment - 6 months, and in persistent cases - till 12 months.

At a tenioza - accept a daily dose of a fenasal on an empty stomach, and in 2 hours - salt laxative. In 1 month reception of a preparation is repeated. Laxative is not appointed.
