Coats Terko Satin is the cotton thread with a core from polyester which underwent finishing processing for smoothness giving. Coats Terko Satin thread combines such parameters as the excellent productivity of sewing cotton and excellent durability and characteristics of lengthening of continuous polyester thread. Cotton winding protects a polyester core from heating through a needle, even in the most extreme scopes of application. Glossy finishing connects the fibrous surface of thread and creates the brilliant surface of thread, also providing the increased resistance to attrition.
Main types of application
- Clothes from skin
- Fashionable accessories
- Automotive industry
- Suitcases and goods for travel
- Goods for the street and sport
- Saddle equipment
- Horse harness
- Protective footwear
Features and advantages
- Threads with cores which unite the high durability of a polyester core and productivity and appearance of a cotton winding
- Threads are polished during special technological process, with use of individual structures in order that fibers of thread remained fastened even when performing difficult sewing operations, forming a strong seam.
- The cotton winding protects a polyester core from heating through a needle during high-speed sewing, thus, keeping thread durability
- In damp, street conditions, the cotton winding absorbs water and inflates completely to fill the openings formed by a needle and thus to prevent leaks
- The controlled tensile properties provide excellent technical characteristics and dense reliable lines on a multilayered surface of leather products
