Sodium-carboxymethyl cellulose, brand 75 B

Technical sodium - carboxymethyl cellulose (KMTs glue) represents the sodium salt of tsellyulozoglikolevy acid received at interaction of alkali cellulose with monochloroacetate of sodium or monochloroacetic acid.
Technical sodium - carboxymethyl cellulose depending on extent of substitution on carboxymethyl groups and polymerization degree is issued 6 brands, each of which is subdivided into grades:

• 85/500, 85/600 (are applied in the oil - extracting, gas industry and geology to regulation of properties of boring solutions and in the mining chemical industry at floatation enrichment of silvinitovy ores),
• 85/700 (it is applied in the oil - extracting and gas industry to regulation and stabilization of properties of the boring solutions working in aggressive environments to 180 °C),
• 75/400 (it is applied in the mining chemical industry at floatation enrichment of silvinitovy ores),
• 70/300 (it is applied in production of synthetic detergents as resorbtsionny additive),
• 75/200 (it is applied as binding cover structures in production of chalk overlay papers and cardboard). In designation of brands the numerator means average extent of substitution on carboxymethyl groups, denominator - polymerization degree.
