The pump VVN1-6 - horizontal console water ring vacuum, is intended for pumping of the gases and vapors, nonaggressive in relation to cast iron, including polluted and dusty, for the purpose of creation of vacuum in the closed devices. Working liquid of such vacuum pumps - water. Use of pumps VVN for pumping of water-gas mixes is allowed only on condition of office and withdrawal of bulk of water before an entrance to the pump. Technical parameters have to be provided at a temperature of pumped out gas no more than 20 °C, temperature of working water no more than 15 °C.
