Powders magnesite periklazovy, baked from magnesite, apply to repair podin martin and arc furnaces, to production and repair of walls of steel-smelting furnaces. Magnesite powders, magnesite ogneupor, consist of a magnesium oxide with percent of impurity from 1 to 10%. The oxide of magnesium (periclase) turns out by roasting of magnesite or hydrate compounds of magnesium at a temperature of 1700 — 2000 °C. Magnesium contains in salts of sea water, in natural materials - dolomite, bischofite, the ave. The received magnesite powder can be coarse-grained (to 15 mm) and fine-grained (about 5 mm) with porosity to 20%. If the consumer buys magnesite powder which price is much lower than market, there is a serious occasion to refuse purchase. Therefore it is better to buy qualitative magnesite powders at the price of the producer.
