Fans are dus

Dust fans use in rooms with not abrasive pylegazovozdushny mixes with temperature not above 80 °C which aggression in relation to carbonaceous steel of ordinary quality is not higher than aggression of air, not containing sticky substances and fibrous materials. In designation of such fans the letter P is added.

Dust fans have low efficiency because the big gap between a branch pipe and a wheel of the fan is provided in their design.

Dust fans are used to removal of wood shavings, the metal dust which is formed in metalworking machines, in systems of pneumotransport of grain. The number of shovels of the driving wheel of the dust fan small, a forward disk of a wheel is absent, and forward sites of shovels have the form providing dropping the deleted materials which appeared in the fan under the influence of centrifugal forces.
