Carburizing is carried out in a shaft furnace containing a muffle made of heat - resistant corrosion - resistant steel. Carburizing agent - liquid hydrocarbons (kerosene, etc. ), or carburizing gas (endogas). Using triethanolamine, liquid nitrocarburizing can be carried out. The consumption of carburizing agents per 1m ^{2 of the} cemented surface in the middle is 0.35 . . . 0.4 m ³ / h for gaseous and 0.1 . . . 0.12 l / h for liquid (kerosene, synthine, pyrobenzene, white spirit).

The electric furnace is equipped with an automatic temperature control system based on microprocessor - based thermostats and solid - state contactless relays, lined with modern energy - saving materials. A fan is installed in the oven cover.

The delivery set of the furnace includes passports and operating instructions for the electric furnace and for the thermostat, as well as one spare heating element.
