Drums are driving, tension (futirovanny)

The driving drum is a component of the tape conveyor. It is intended for transfer of the traction effort necessary for starting of the conveyer belt. Rotation of the drum is carried out by means of the reducer set in motion by the electric motor or the motor reducer. Driving drums are issued both in smooth (), and in futerovanny (rubberized) (F) execution. Width and diameter of a drum are determined by the customer.

Driving drums can be manufactured with two consoles of a shaft for connection with two driving mechanisms symmetrized concerning a conveyor axis.

Not driving drums are a component of the tape conveyor. They are subdivided on head, tail (trailer), tension, reverse, rejecting, bypass, clamping. Not driving drums are intended for a tension, increase in force of adhesion of a driving drum with a tape, an exception of pro-slipping of a tape, for change of the direction of the movement of a tape in horizontally inclined conveyors. These drums are used in tension stations, places of a bend (excess) of the conveyer belt, as the dumping drums, etc.
