DIETHANOL AMIDE
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES Diethanol amide ― colourless viscous hygroscopic liquid with a specific aminny smell, beyond all bounds mixes up with water, we will well dissolve in ethanol, benzene, chloroform, it is bad ― in saturated hydrocarbons.
RECEIVING: Receive rectification of technical trietanolamine. It is applied in technology of organic synthesis (to absorption of sour gases and sulfur - containing connections from industrial gas mixes), as a reactant in analytical chemistry, productions of emulsifiers, detergents, cosmetic medicines.
APPLICATION:
- in the cement industry as cement, binding between various synthetic and natural components, and besides the hardening process delay mechanism/accelerator. ;
- pure DEA is applied by production of cosmetics, and technical in washing and disinfectants in quality the pH regulator in creams and gels and also as the soft basis and as a part of emulsifiers;
- as absorbent of "sour" gases (H2S, CO2, SO2 , etc. ) in processes of purification of technological gases at the enterprises of oil processing, gas and chemical industries;
- by production of inhibitors of corrosion;
- by production SOZH
Trietanolamine also is a part of glues and RTI
REQUIREMENTS FOR Bezopasnosti: trietanolamin ― it is fire - dangerous. According to GOST 12.1.007 on extent of impact on an organism treats substances of the 3rd class of danger (moderately dangerous substance).
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE: Trietanolamine is transported in railway tanks. Also the product is transported in steel barrels; import barrels, according to strength characteristics to not conceding requirements of domestic standards of a similar container; the barrels which were in the use, ensuring safety and quality at transportation in the covered railway cars car sendings. Transportation of trietanolamine in barrels with a capacity of 100, 110 dm ³ is carried out by transport packages. Transportation of trietanolamine without packing on condition of loading and unloading of cars on access roads of the enterprise is allowed.
The product is transported also in the covered vehicles the motor transport, in tanker trucks.
Trietanolamine not less than 2 m from heating elements at a temperature from minus 40 to store in the covered warehouse, on the open areas in hermetically closed container, in the closed capacities with heating, at distance plus 40 °C.
Joint storage with caustic aggressive products, especially with nitric acid and in the presence of chlorine is not allowed.
WARRANTY PERIOD of STORAGE: 1 year from the date of production.
