Device and principle of operation

The operation of the sensor is based on measuring the differential pressure between two membranes located in the pancreas at different depths. The pressure difference is proportional to the density of the liquid. Analog electrical signal corresponding to differential yesphenomenon, is converted in the electronics unit into a digital code, which can be transferred to the collection system of the SSTI. To reduce additional errors, the characteristics of the primary converter are corrected by the software method in the sensor controller. The sensor is installed in the container and fixed with a bracket from the sensor. Purpose and field of application The density sensor is designed for continuous conversion of the measured parameter of the density of the drilling fluid in containers (pressure difference of liquid media) into an analog DC voltage signal with its subsequent conversion by means of the devices included in its composition into a unified DC output signal for remote transmission.
