Consolidations for hydrotests of pipes

One of the most important components of a test press are sealing cuffs. These elements established in test heads close and pressurize a test cavity. Cuffs are intended for consolidation of an ispytuyemy pipe both when filling with an emulsion, and during test.

Structurally and on the working pressure of a cuff are issued:

• segment cuffs (Collapsing seal with traveling insert);
• radial cuffs (Collapsing seal);
• vorotnikovy cuffs (U-cup seal);
• vorotnikovy cuffs with anti-extrusive inserts (U-cup seal with special anti-extrusion hardened ring).

Elastic parts of cuffs are made from qualitative polyurethane that considerably raises their technical resource.

Work of cuffs is modelled by means of a specialized program complex that allows to choose optimum geometry and to improve characteristics of their work even on already operated equipment.

Real durability of segment cuffs (at observance of service regulations) – about 10000 cycles.

Cuffs are segment:

• Diameter of a pipe is from 60,3 mm to 340 mm (2 3/8" – 13 3/8")
• Test pressure is up to 125 MPas
• The raised work resource on high pressures of test due to application of segment inserts from high-strength materials
• Hydraulic subpress of a cuff
• Lack of special processing of face surfaces of a pipe

Cuffs are radial:

• Diameter of a pipe is up to 1420 mm
• Test pressure is up to 25 MPas
• Hydraulic subpress of a cuff
• Lack of special processing of face surfaces of a pipe
• The raised work resource due to lack of movement of a cuff along a pipe

Cuffs are vorotnikovy:

• Diameter of a pipe is from 60,3 mm to 219 mm (2 3/8" – 8 5/8")
• The normal mode of work on pressure to 80 MPas
• Possibility of application with a test pressure to 125 MPas
