Concentrated nitric acid GOST 701 - 89 is produced by autoclaving weak nitric acid and nitrogen oxides, produced in two grades - "A" and "B".
Grade "A" is used in the manufacture of products for the electronic and radio - electronic industries, nitration of organic compounds, the production of explosives, in the chemical processing of metals, the medical industry, and the production of plastics.
Grade “B” is used for galvanic work in the production of chemical reagents, for dissolving impurities of industrial products, nitration of organic compounds, the production of explosives.
Non - concentrated nitric acid is intended for the production of ammonium nitrate, complex fertilizers, for oxidative processes during etching of metals, as well as for the preparation of a nutrient solution to achieve the required pH; for flushing drip irrigation systems; in the production of nitrogen and combined fertilizers; as a component of hydroponic solutions.
