Compound of the increased viability with a nontoxical hardener.

APPOINTMENT: The compound of ETAL - 1440 is used as binding for production of the fiberglass products received by impregnation, winding and applied in contact with cold and hot water, alkalis of any concentration, solutions of salts, acids (except oxidizers).

The compound is beyond all bounds steady against sea and fresh water.

It is widely used for production of boats, details of cars, etc.

The compound can be used for pasting of polar materials, drawing anticorrosive coverings, filling, impregnation and capsulation of electrotechnical products.

STRUCTURE: The two - packing epoxy compound of Etal - 1440, represents the modified epoxy (component A) and a nontoxical hardener of aminny type (component B).

The compound is issued in the form of two brands differing according to strength characteristics and heat resistance: Etal - 1440 and Etal - 1440/2.

On physical and chemical and mechanical indicators the compound has to conform to the following requirements and norms:

RECOMMENDATIONS ABOUT APPLICATION:

Recommended Тº components 22 - 25oC.

To open capacity with pitch part (component A), to carefully promeshat a drill with a nozzle (when hashing from 1 kg) or the mixer (when hashing no more than 1 kg) within 2 - 3 minutes.

It is recommended to prepare mix in the quantity allowing to use it within 10 - 15 minutes.

For increase in time of life it is recommended to pour after mixture structure in flat capacity a layer no more than 2 cm!

The recommended hardening mode: 24 hours at 20 - 25os.

* * Epoxy binding are dosed only on weight.

* * * For the products operated at the increased temperature additional heat treatment is recommended 4 hours at T =70 - 80os.

INSTRUCTION ON WORK WITH MATERIALS FOR FIBREGLASSES:

THE CHOICE OF THE REINFORCING MATERIAL.

If you work with fiber glass fabric, apply fabric compatible to epoxy materials to direct silon zamaslivatel, for example: TS - 26P - 34(100), T - 13P - 78 (100), T - 11/1P - 41 (92).

Fiber glass fabrics with paraffin zamaslivatel epoxides do not become impregnated. Annealing of a zamaslivatel considerably reduces strength characteristics of a finished product.

If you work with steklomata, apply steklomata with an emulsion sheaf, compatible to epoxides and with a density of 300, steklomata with a powder sheaf epoxy binding do not become impregnated, for work with steklomata, we recommend systems Etal 247/47F5, Etal 257U.

Recommendations about laying of layers at manual formation of layered plastics: all layers of fabric are put "wet on wet at once". If fabric dried to an otlip, it is recommended to wait for full hardening, to zamatirovat, degrease and form the following layers.

WORK IN THE CONDITIONS OF LOW TEMPERATURES

At fall of temperature on 10ºС viscosity of epoxy binding increases by 2 - 3 times therefore before mixture it is recommended to warm up separately components to 20 - 25ºС, for ensuring low viscosity binding and high quality impregnations of fabric. It is necessary to remember that the speed of hardening and a set of durability at fall of temperature on 10ºС decreases several times.

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES: Workers during the work with a compound Etal - 1440H have to be provided with overalls and individual means of protection according to rules of work with epoxies.

STORAGE CONDITIONS: The container with a compound is stored at a temperature from - 20ºС to 40ºС in warehouses with nonfood products.

PACKING: It is delivered in eurobuckets on 2,5 kg, 10 kg and 20 kg.
