According to GOST 14695 - 80 KTPN are classified:

- according to the method of performing the neutral of the transformer on the low voltage side (LV side) - with a solidly grounded neutral;
- by the number of used power transformers - with one and two transformers;
- according to the presence of busbar insulation in low voltage switchgear - with non - insulated busbars;
- for the implementation of high - voltage input - cable, air;
- on the implementation of conclusions in the low voltage switchgear - cable, air;
- by climatic design and placement category according to GOST 15150 - climatic design U, location category 1;
- by the method of installation of automatic switches - stationary switches;
- according to the purpose of RUNN cabinets - introductory, linear, sectional;
- execution depending on the high voltage device - dead - end type, bushing type.
