Mine shaft hoisting steel headgear/headframe is one of the important buildings on the surface of shaft, which is used to support the sheave wheel and bear all hoisting loads, the guide and the unloading curved rail. Steel structure headgear/headframe is usually composed of three main parts: vertical frame, inclined frame and sheave wheel frame.

According to the hoisting mode, the headgear can be divided into single drum and double drum single rope headgear and ground - mounted friction multi rope headgear. According to the application, it can be divided into shaft sinking headgear, production permanent headgear and combined headgear for shaft sinking and production. According to its specific structure, it can be divided into steel pipe headgear, single brace headgear and double brace headgear.
