The centralizer spring (further — a centralizer) is intended for centering of upsetting columns in the well for the purpose of receiving uniform replacement of drilling mud fluid and filling with cement mortar of annular space in the course of fastening of the well.
Centralizer are intended mainly in oil, gas and water wells.
The centralizer is established on an upsetting column mainly on the threaded connection (coupling) which at the same time performs function of a clamp; in some cases centralizers can be established on any part of casing pipe, in this case for its fixing it is necessary to use a ring clamp.
