The source of calibrated signals (hereinafter referred to as the calibrator) is a multifunctional microprocessor device and is designed to reproduce precision values of constant voltage and current during calibration, verification and adjustment of working measuring instruments in laboratory and industrial conditions.

The calibrator is a programmable source of voltage ( - 10 . . . + 100 mV, −1 . . . + 10 V) and current (0 . . . 5 mA, 0 . . . 20 mA, 4 . . . 20 mA). In terms of the number of playback channels, the calibrator is single - channel. The calibrator includes a built - in stabilized DC power supply (with an output voltage of 24 V) with an overload and short - circuit protection device and is galvanically isolated from other circuits. An optional 100 Ω ± 0.01% reference pull - up resistor can be included in the calibrator as an option. The resistor is connected to terminals independent of the calibrator circuits on the side panel of the calibrator.
The control of the values of the analog output signals of the calibrator is carried out using external digital voltmeters connected to the corresponding terminals.
Voltage and current values are entered and stored in memory from the keypad located on the calibrator case. The value of the output voltage and current in each range is stored and retrieved from 64 points, divided into 8 tables of 8 points.
