Broaches shponochny from the producer, Ukraine

The Shponochny broach represents the kind of the metal-cutting tool equipped with several cutting working surfaces - teeths. This type of broaches is used on lingering machines for processing of shponochny grooves of a different form.

The Shponochny broach is applied to processing of both external, and internal surfaces. At its use the unary or group scheme of cutting of a layer of material can be applied. More effective scheme is group as has bigger quantity of teeths, and also two angular facets on the first tooth. As broaches remove a shaving layer only one surface, the tool can be exposed to plastic deformation.

Shponochny broaches are designed generally two types: with a rectangular body which width is nominally equal to width of the stretched flute

The Shponochny broach is intended for slotting grooves in openings under splines. Width of b of a broach has to provide the set width of a shponochny groove in a detail opening. Shponochny broaches as the fair tool have to provide the accuracy of a shponochny groove as no other methods of final processing of a shponochny groove in an opening practically exist.

The Shponochny broach has rectangular section. Its teeths are carried out with the rectilinear cutting edges parallel to a bottom of the stretched flute. During the work the broach moves on a longitudinal groove of the directing plug. The drawing of a shponochny flute is conducted usually in several passes. After each pass at the bottom of a groove of the directing plug establish the corresponding laying thanks to what functioning by the same broach in several passes is ensured.

Shponochny broaches for through grooves from 1 wide 5 to 100 mm happen two types: with a flat body and a cylindrical body. Broaches of the first type are applied more widely and in turn subdivided on tape and with a reinforced body. The first allow to stretch grooves in openings of small diameter, the second as more rigid are applied to shponochny grooves at plugs of the big size. Broaches can work with flat bodies in sets from one to several pieces. At small output the drawing is conducted by one broach, and depth of a groove is reached by laying which is put under a broach in the directing groove of adaptation (adapter) after each pass. Shponochny broaches during the work move in the directing adaptation groove. Shponochny broaches for grooves more than 16 mm wide are carried out by the national teams.
