The adult individual of a spider has an interesting brown color with buryakovo-red outflow, the paunch and legs are covered with orange hairs of the muffled color. The spider is interesting by the proportions, in difference from other Brachypelm, a body of a spider very massive, heavy, legs are shorter than at other spiders of this sort. The spider eats well, but is noticed that at a low temperature refuses food. When opening a terrarium the spider begins to hide actively therefore for more comfortable conditions it is possible to put shelter. The adult individual reaches enough large sizes - in a body of 6 - 7 cm, in a big way paws of 14 - 16 cm. Males reach puberty 2 - 2,5 years, females - 3 - 4 years.
