Biocide for aqueous emulsions of cutting fluids BioVenton 200 is a stable biocide with a broad spectrum of activity, intended for incorporation into the composition of concentrates of cutting fluids (cutting fluids) used for all types of metalworking.
The preparation contains a combination of biologically active substances, which ensures long - term preservation of the above products. The drug is used for the preservation of coolant emulsions.
SCOPE BioVenton 200
The required dosage level of BioVenton - 200 into the coolant concentrate depends on the final concentration of the coolant emulsion prepared from the concentrate.
- Shock (shock) dose
2.5 liters per 10,000 liters of emulsion, i. e. 0.025% . In some cases, and especially in the presence of sulfate - reducing bacteria (unpleasant odor), additional special treatment may be required. In case of problems with biofilm formation (blockage of pipelines or filters), it is recommended to administer another shock dose after thoroughly cleaning the system by hand.
- Preventive maintenance dose
1 liter per 10,000 liters of emulsion, i. e. 0.01% . Before carrying out preventive treatment, the equipment must be shocked in order to destroy all microorganisms, since preventive treatment only controls their growth and, consequently, the formation of biofilms. When filling systems with coolant emulsions made from concentrates containing biocides, it is important to maintain the correct concentration of preservative in the emulsion. A freshly prepared emulsion should be poured into a previously cleaned and disinfected system.
Efficiency:
The biocidal effect of BioVenton 200 is achieved by rapidly inhibiting growth, resulting in decreased cell viability.
Inhibition of cellular activity and growth occurs rather quickly (several minutes), while cell death is observed only after a few hours. Within 24 - 48 hours, after contact with a lethal dose of biocide, most microorganisms die. BioVenton 200 provides coolant preservation for 1 - 4 weeks.
Stability:
BioVenton 200 is stable over a wide pH range (3.0 - 9.0) in water and coolant. Its stability and properties are improved at low pH values. If possible, keep the pH in the system below 9.0.
Avoid adding strong bases (alkaline materials with pH 10 - 12) shortly before or immediately after adding BioVenton 200 to the system. In case it is necessary to add strong alkaline products, it is recommended to do this at least 30 minutes before or 30 minutes after adding BioVenton 200.
Avoid high temperatures, this can accelerate the degradation of BioVenton 200. It is recommended to add the biocide to the liquid at a temperature not exceeding 55 ° C.
Product in finished coolant:
BioVenton - 200 is safe at recommended dosage levels (subject to operating conditions).
Concentrate:
- Use personal protective equipment when working.
- Avoid breathing vapor and mist. Avoid ingestion. Do not take internally. It is recommended to take a shower after handling the substance.
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with a stream of water for 10 - 15 minutes. Seek medical attention immediately.
- Protect the preparation from heat and direct sunlight.
- The guaranteed shelf life is 12 months.
Storage
The product should be stored in a closed container in a dry and clean room, away from flammable materials, heat sources and direct sunlight. Recommended storage temperature 5 - 35 ° C. Avoid deep freezing of the product. The recommended shelf life is 24 months.
