The badge "State Border Guard Service of Ukraine" was used as an identification mark for border guards. This cockade is placed on the front of the headdress.

The material of the cockade is lightweight durable metal. It is attached with two metal tendrils.

The cockade is oval, covered with resistant paint.

The shape of the cockade is a shield. The main background color is green. On the left is the emblem of the border service - a trident on a green cross. On the right is a border pillar in blue and yellow stripes, under it is a laurel branch.
