SINCRONIL (Cloprostenol) is a synthetic prostaglandin F2α (PGF2α) analog.
SINCRONIL PROAGRO stimulates the reduction of corpus luteum (luteolysis) in cows with normal estrus cycles. This allows for estrus and ovulation to reappear between 2 and 4 days after its administration. After ovulation, there's a period of 4-5 days of resistance to the luteolytic action of prostaglandins. In animals presenting with persistence of corpus luteum (pyometra, mummified fetuses, lutein cysts), luteolysis induced by SINCRONIL PROAGRO allows for these conditions to disappear and the animal to return to its normal estrus cycle. SINCRONIL PROAGRO can be used for the interruption of unwanted pregnancy or in young underdeveloped females if administered within the 5 first months of pregnancy.
Indications and Usage:
a) Control of the estrus cycle and scheduling of the reproductive cycle in healthy bovines.b) Therapeutic use.
1) Silent estrus.
2) Termination of unwanted pregnancy or in young underdeveloped females. SINCRONIL PROAGRO will have effect if administered up to 150 days of pregnancy.
3) Luteolysis in cases of chronic endometritis or pyometra caused by retention of the corpus luteum.
4) Elimination of mummified fetuses.
5) Treatment of lutein cysts.
Route of Administration:
