Helmet SSh-40 USSR 1948

The Italian M33 helmet was chosen as a prototype by the Soviet developers. The model is made of steel with a thickness of 1.9 mm, weighs 1250 g.

The liner is a 3 - piece leatherette construction. On the reverse side of the petals, there are damping cotton wool pads covered with fabric. Each petal is attached to the helmet with 2 rivets.
