Composition.
The drug is produced in two versions: "For the dogs" (praziquantel - 15.0 mg/ml Pyrantel pamoate - 45.0 mg/ml, auxiliary components: polysorbate 80, sodium benzoate, xanthan gum, citric acid, propylene glycol, distilled water to 1 mL), "For cats, kittens and puppies " (praziquantel - 5.0 mg/ml Pyrantel pamoate -15.0 mg/mL, auxiliary components: polysorbate 80, sodium benzoate, xanthan gum, citric acid, propylene glycol, distilled water to 1 ml).
Application.
Prevention and treatment of nematodes (toxocariasis, uncinariasis, hookworm, Trichocephallosis)cestodes (echinococcosis, teniidosis , Diphyllobothriasis, dypilidiosis, mesocestoides) and mixed infestations in dogs cats from 2 weeks of age.
Pharmacological properties.
PRANATEL-suspension has a wide spectrum of anthelmintic effect on all phases of round i tape worms, including Toxocara canis, Tohosaha mystax, Toxascaris leonina, Trichuris vulpis, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum, Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Taenia spp., Dipylidium caninum , Diphyllobothrium latum, Mesocestoides lineatus i Multiceps multiceps, parasitazing in dogs i cats. Praziquantel mechanism of action that is a part of the drug is based on intracellular calcium metabolism in the cestode, fumaratreduktase supression, violation of the permeability of cell membranes and neuromuscular innervation, causing spastic contraction of the muscles of worms and causes it death. Pyrantel pamoate blocks in nematodes neuro-muscular transmission by sustained depolarization of the postsynaptic membrane (cholinergic antagonist), resulting in paralysis and death of worms. Pyrantel pamoate is poorly absorbed, ensuring its prolonged effect on the worms in the intestine and low toxicity to animals.
Dosage.
Take individualy to animals once during the morning feeding with small amounts of food or forcely on the root of the tongue with a syringe dosing in the following doses:

before using bottles with suspension must be carefully stir for 1-2 minutes.! Previous starvation diet and the use of laxatives are not required. Purpose of treatment PRANATEL-suspension appointed by the testimony. A strong degree of infestation deworming is recommended to be repeated after 10 days. For prevention of helminthiasis adult dogs, cats, puppies, kittens are dewormed at therapeutic doses, quarterly, and before each vaccination. Pregnant females are dewormed in the second half of pregnancy, lactating - 3 at weeks after birth
