Metallurgy

Orthophosphoric acid is applied to phosphate coating of metals, to the soldering as gumboil (on the oxidized copper, on ferrous metal, on stainless steel), to clarification from a rust of metal surfaces.

Chemical industry

Orthophosphoric acid is necessary by production of synthetic detergents, absorbent carbon. Is the catalyst in organic synthesis.

Industry of building materials

Is a necessary component at production of construction materials: fireproof paints, refractory materials, fire - resistant binding, ceramics, glass, nonflammable phosphowood plates, nonflammable phosphatic polyfoam, etc.
